Cyrus and Anita talk about how she got into writing poetry at a young age, writing for Sandesh - the oldest children's magazine in Bengali, the legendary Satyajit Ray being involved with the magazine and how he would publish whatever writings Anita sent in, how Anita got into writing prose in college as well, being inspired by Satyajit Ray, how he was also a great illustrator, how Anita's mother wanted at least one of her children to be a writer, and lots more. Cyrus and Anita also discuss Anita's returning of the Bangla Academy Literary Award in protest of the killing of innocent protesters in Nandigram in West Bengal, making the jump from hobby to profession, and who are some of the writers who inspired Anita early in her life.
