Miss Conduct E03 - Zoya Khan

We at Miss Conduct love a good conwoman. Our favourite right now is Anna Delvey, a German woman who pretended to be an heiress and defrauded several banks, hotels, and rich people. Women like Anna Delvey are people we love to hate. We hate them because they ooze equal parts charisma and arrogance. We love them because, hey, it’s a great story, and it’s usually wealthy folks that bear the brunt of their antics. Women like Anna Delvey get movies and TV shows, developed by HBO and Netflix… because we needed two retellings of the same story, both releasing at the same time. 

Zoya Khan, however, never got a Netflix deal. We think that’s fair. She did commit some crimes where she impersonated an Indian civil services officer (allegedly). And while we don’t have a conviction just yet, we still believe it was important to tell her story. A story that is fun, hilarious, and no one dies at the end. 

So here’s to Zoya -- let us immortalise her on this little podcast. Hope you have a great time with this episode!
