On this episode, Cyrus is joined by Huw Cordey, the absolutely fascinating Series Producer of 'A Perfect Planet' on Sony BBC Earth. Cyrus and Huw have an intriguing conversation about what A Perfect Planet is about - the first four episodes being about the natural forces like volcanoes, ocean currents, the sun and weather, and how these natural forces shape our planet and its diversity. The 5th episode is about humans - the fifth and newest force, the one that is destabilising the other four forces. On the podcast, Cyrus and Huw talk about each of these forces and how they affect our planet, how humans have been adversely damaging the environment since the industrial revolution, what it's like shooting ocean currents and filming life under the oceans, what it's like working with the great Sir David Attenborough, and lots more. They also discuss what the most dangerous aspects of shooting wildlife documentaries are, among various other interesting anecdotes. Huw also helps Cyrus in answering some interesting AMA questions, so don't miss those.
