Ep. 929: HEAD HELD HIGH ft. Vishwas Nangre Patil | Joint CP Law and Order & Author

On today’s episode of Cyrus Says, we are joined by the real life Sooryavanshi, Vishwas Nangre Patil, Joint CP Law and Order and the Author of 'Head Held High'. Cyrus talks to Vishwas Nangre about coming from a small town from the outskirts of Kolhapur in Maharashtra, and asks him about the need for political VIPs who create traffic in South Mumbai. Vishwas talks about giving his first interview in English while he had a background of coming from a small town and being more comfortable with Marathi at the time, being open to discussing all the things he has done, and coming from a family that loved wrestling but not being much of a wrestler himself. Further we see him reciting a poem called “Khaki”, describing what a police officer's day is like today especially during festival season, sharing a room with R Madhavan in his college days, still being friends with him and the things he learnt from Madhavan, and lots more. He also talks about his love for bikes and about busting some major rave parties across the city. He also tells us about his experiences fighting the terrorists at the Taj Hotel on 26/11, and how he and his squad combatted the terrorists with only two pistols in total. Tune in for this and tons more.
